About KLK SURF 🌴 ✈️ 🌎
Our Community
KLK Surf was born from a deep desire to give back to our surf community. We are based on the North shore of the Samaná peninsula in the Dominican Republic, in a small, vibrant beach town called Las Terrenas.
Our focus is on mentoring young talent, providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities to participate in the sport they love. We are proud to be part of the close-knit surf community at Playa Bonita.
Our #DOGOODFUND initiatives are dedicated to equipping local youth surfers with individualized assistance — from custom boards to travel support for competitions.
Our KLK Team Roster
Our initiatives at KLK Surf started helping local surfers in 2013. More recently, we’ve expanded to support the Dominican National Team and Junior National Team, providing them with the necessary resources to represent the Dominican Republic in surf competitions.
Most recently, we offered our support to a group of local youth surfers in attending the 2024 ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Surf City, El Salvador — a critical event that feeds into the World Surf Championships, which is a direct path to the Olympics. These young surfers received travel stipends, custom boards, and gear to proudly represent KLK Surf and their countries.
